During the last couple of outings discussions have been held with members of our motorhome group...
I was offered this exact warranty program through the dealer
They had an RV show special and discounted the program by $1,000, this brought their price down to $1,995! Sounded pretty good. But I knew the dealers make their money on all the extras they sell. I declined their offer and came home, looked up RV Protection on the internet and found I could purchase the identical plan direct for less than $1,000. I did contact several RV shops in the area and found RV Protection was a well known and well thought of insurance company. The shop I use said I’d be foolish to pass this offer up.
I filled out the application on line, and Scott called me the very same day. He was very helpful in picking out the best plan for my rig. Everything was handled through the mail, and Scott was terrific to deal with.
I had an older RV prior to this new Carri Lite, I know that the older they get things do breakdown. I figure if I lose a refrigerator over the next seven years this plan will more than pay for itself. For the next seven years, I won’t have to worry about any expensive breakdowns or unplanned expenditures on our RV.
My advice, “call Scott, avoid the dealers when it comes to insurance plans of any kind, buy direct!”
